Everyone’s talking about vaccinations

I spent two days doing the 6 Hour drive to arrive here to get my first Pfizer vaccination. Tomorrow I will get my second one
The steering handle assembly on my motorcycle was loose so I had a cuppa coffee while waiting the one hour for the shop to fix it under warranty. I kept my foot in the photo because my cousin likes feet in photos
This little rubber boot on my kickstand foot helps keep the kickstand from slipping on pavement and gravel
You will find a superb Vespa dealership in Pattaya. Just look at the range of colors and designs
Meanwhile, back at the ranch (Koh Chang), the Honda dealer has switched from selling new bikes to selling used ones. That illustrates the poor economy.
While at the dealership this is someone’s problem, mud and water in the air intake area. He had problems. The service fellow was giving him a mental estimate on what it would cost to get his bike running again. Parts need to be ordered.
A friend is working on making a bike rack for his “bike” to put on his new “bike”. Isn’t English fun?

Don’t worry be happy

It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing it’s always just so much more refreshing to put a smile on your face and enjoy. But what can make you smile? Maybe some food?

Gee not only serves coffee but she also serve smiles
stopping in Rayong I am able to get some of my favorite foods at Haru, a local Japanese restaurant
Also in Koh Chang at Angelo’s Italian restaurant we can get super delicious tiramisu
This is what was left at the neighboring table. I hope there are pigs in the vicinity
This was my table. No need for pigs
When traveling it’s easy to pick up some snack, maybe some sausage balls, and enjoy a cuppa coffee with pickled ginger and cabbage packed with the sausage
After your Italian meal you might want to have some of this. It is a very interesting and tasty Italian Brandy
and of course we needed to have a farewell party for our friend Fon who, for unfortunate circumstances, has to return to Pattaya

Hula Time for Coffee Girls

Gee found a Hula Hoop. Wow, haven’t seen one for sooooooo many years. Then she went into her moves and shook up the whole community (kidding). She did an admirable job. So, not only does she make a great coffee every morning, along with soy milk and pumpkin juice, she can also hippy-hippy-shake.

Jelly (jellyfish) Assessment

When the unusual approaches your hangout it is curiosity that leads to investigation. In this case it was a big jelly lying on the beach. This was a big one, relative to the jellies generally floating in the area. At least jellies don’t jump out of the water and stick holes in your ears as the fish did to Paul several months ago.

Snorkeling off the Dive Boat

People from all over the world, some families not only having traveled to many countries but originating from several countries, enjoy the universal KAWABUNGA challenge. Rains come and go and cool off the day and make the trip more beautiful and interesting than a totally sunny day (how boring). This is the trip from Koh Mak back to Koh Chang, Thailand. I joined the round trip at Koh Mak for the one way trip back to Koh Chang. I was staying on Koh Mak for 5 days just getting away from the small community (sardine can). After one year on Koh Chang it really feels good to get away now and then.

A Peacock does what he has to do.

These Peacocks come out of their yard, walk in the streets looking for food, much like the dogs all over Thailand. They get food, all right, though maybe not the kind they need for a healthy body. Someone knows about that, not me. Well, one morning the Peacock came to Gee’s coffee station looking for something to eat so we provided something.

Pomeranian Challenges Crabs

Fifa tries her paws at catching very nimble crabs outside Chang Bar, Koh Chang, Thailand. We all sit, have a drink and watch her go for it. She kept at it for about 10 minutes but I cut the video down. We were rooting for……(my lips are sealed).

Daily Antics, with FOOD!

JUST A NICE PHOTO. I LIKED THE CLOUDS, NOTICING THEM FROM UP ON THE STREET.
A day would not be complete without my dog, John.
Evening time and Sun and Soul, owned by the son of a friend.
I poured in the coffeemate randomly and this s what I got in my coffee
Same ingredients as my soup but with egg instead of water. Nice, healthy food
Here is the soup version
Getting ready for a party. What a blow out! A few of us totally scummed to the intoxicants.
And for dinner…beans, kimchi and a good homemade dressing
Drinking alcohol in restaurants is still forbidden so we drank mouthwash and sweet cherry mixer. And you believe that? up to you!
And of course a good Washed Rind cheese to top off the evening.
Mondays were Quiz Night at Max’s. But he passed away a few months ago so not much left here at his place
The last of Max’s Coppa

Daily This, That and The Other!

RGB lights to subtly spruce up the room shine on my new non-slip mats. Do you know what that squirter beside the toilet is? There is a shower head also. This is an easy to clean bathroom, typical in Thailand
Cows have the right of way, if you want to save your car
A very secure hot house for…..
And what do you think they will grow here? You guessed it. Now the leaves are legal, Cannibals
My favorite noddle place, like most other restaurants here, is gone, making the island more “deserted” looking
My new PCX. Nicer long distance bike than the Click 150. This is a 160cc.
New bike with my basket.
Still don’t have my second Silver Cloud. My first one disappeared, but easy to misplace, only 2 inches long.
Memorial to Timida who passed away 2 weeks ago from what seemed to be a poison, most likely from another animal.
How else would you transport a palm tree?
